The 23rd Doha Forum wrapped up in Qatar’s capital on Sunday after two days of intensive discussions on global political, economic, and humanitarian challenges. More than 6,000 participants from over 150 countries attended the gathering.
Global leaders convene in Doha
Organized by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this year’s forum focused on the theme “Justice in Action: Beyond Promises to Progress.” Ministers, diplomats, policymakers, and experts met to explore solutions to the world’s most urgent issues.
The event drew prominent figures such as Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares, World Economic Forum President Børge Brende, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.
Anadolu Agency served as the global communications partner for the forum.
Wide-ranging sessions address key global challenges
The 2025 program was developed in partnership with leading think tanks and research organizations. The agenda featured sessions on global risks, technological advances, and evolving geopolitical dynamics.
Key discussions included “The Gaza Reckoning: Reassessing Global Responsibilities and Pathways to Peace,” “Gulf–EU Relations in the Age of Strategic Isolation,” “AI as a Double-Edged Sword: Strategies for Responsible Use in the Military Domain,” and “U.S.–China Relations: Navigating the Risks and Opportunities of a Changing Global Order.”
The sessions highlighted the urgent need for international cooperation as countries navigate shifting global power structures, humanitarian crises, and rapid technological change.
